How Does it Feel When Winners Lose

Winners in a casino are without a doubt the easiest people to spot in a online casino and you’ll likely even know the quite shy types that are winning just because of their million dollar smiles. However, in case you haven’t noticed, there is a world of losers around the roulette wheel and some of these losers are likely winners anywhere else.

You know you are playing a game with favorable odds for the house when winners don’t win on the roulette wheel. What’s more you can just about be assured that individuals who are loading up on the interior numbers are never going to win as much as they spend on the roulette wheel because it is mathematically impossible.

Once a dealer brought my attention to how bad the odds were on this game. He said that so many people play roulette as a social game anyway that they don’t really care if they win or lose. His sentiments were that, “it’s a good thing that people play this game to socialize while drinking the free drinks and losing their money; the drinks help them to at least feel good about it.” He explained why so many people lose so fast at the game of roulette and the reason was because so many people load up on so many numbers on the inside numbers on corner bets or split bets that even if they do end up lucky and hit a number, they couldn’t possibly recoup their losses from the “stupid” bets that they have placed.

While this dealer left us a bit perplexed over the game, I never played the game for any other reason except to kill time and I knew the odds were bad but I never had really paid much attention to the way people wager their money on this wheel so I began to pay attention to the other gamblers. Sure enough, the gamblers of the wheel were making some of the craziest wagers and even when they took a good “hit” on one of their “numbers,” the chip stacks were decreasing and not really making a difference for anyone at the table.

Roulette caught my attention that day and for the rest of the trip whenever I would watch the casino game intrigued more by the players playing the game than the game, because I know the game, it was mind-boggling just as the dealer had said. People were betting ridiculous wagers and never winning any money even when the money was there to be won. For instance, as I watched the lighted number board one day of the roulette wheel, I noticed 10 red numbers and then one black number after three red numbers appeared again, I paid close attention to the dealer who wasn’t very interested in spinning the roulette wheel so I joined the game with cash money and my match play on red.

I won five times on red and walked away. My friend walked up right behind me and won eight more times on red. All the while, the four players around the table were trying to hit something in the middle never realizing if their something in the middle hit, they still wouldn’t be considered winners. After dinner that same evening, I spotted a fellow craps player playing roulette and walked up to him to say hello. He warned of the game and he is always a positive, upbeat, and winning player which taught me all I needed to learn. If winners can’t win on this game called roulette, then it’s the house’s game and suddenly, I was very uninterested in the game again.

Does Santa Claus Really Exist?

After much research, present the annual aeronautical engineers report on the theory of Santa: No known species of reindeer can fly. BUT there are 300,000 species of living organisms yet to be classified, and while most of these are insects and germs, this does not COMPLETELY rule out flying reindeer, which only Santa has ever seen. There are 2 billion children (persons under 18) in the world. BUT since Santa doesn't (appear) to handle the Muslim, Hindu, Jewish & Buddhist children, that reduces the workload to 15% of the total -378 million according to Population Reference Bureau. At an average (census) rate of 3.5 children per household, that's 91.8 million homes. One presumes that there's at least one good child in each. Santa has 31 hours of Christmas to work with. This is due to the different time zones and the rotation of the earth, assuming he travels east to west (which seems logical). This works out to 822.6 visits/second. That is to say that for ...
